Ventus Energy Ltd is an independent Irish renewable energy company principally focused on developing wind energy projects. It was incorporated in the year 2000 and has been active in wind farm development within the Republic of Ireland.

Ventus Energy (NZ) Ltd was incorporated in New Zealand in early 2004. The company began development activities in response to the anticipated shortage in NZ generation capacitiy and rising wholesale electricity prices.
